Save the Children Norway opened its office in Lao PDR in early January 1997. Five years has since gone and the tasks have grown, and thereby slightly changed. Our partners have aslo suggested certain changes.

Based on these new demands it was decided that SCN staff would critically review its present situation, working methods and organizational structure.
We also wanted to review if the children of Lao PDR today needed different supports than five years ago.
